Each and every shortblock is built to order and we make changes to it based upon what YOU are going to do with the car. Before assembly every single shortblock has a final clean in our industry leading ultrasonic cleaner, and followed with a white-glove hand clean. Every single shortblock is hand assembled in our environmentally controlled engine clean room which features dedicated air handling and is kept at 68F year round.
- The Stage 2 street shortblocks are the next logical progression in addressing the next common OEM part failure beyond Stage 1. Typically known as a built bottom end or a rod and piston motor our street motors are a balance of budget and performance. If you're looking for more power than what our Stage 1 motor can support, desire a better engine geometry, daily drive your car, and are budget limited these are great solutions that will meet your needs.

Notes:
- If using D25 heads you must use a slightly thicker head gasket due to the smaller combustion chamber.  We recommend JE .039" head gaskets.
