This is a super-durable all-aluminum radiator designed to replace your factory radiator to improve overall cooling efficiency. Most factory radiators are manufactured using plastic upper and bottom tanks which will eventually weaken over time and will leak which will cause you to overheat, which will open up an entirely different set of problems. Furthermore, the intercooler is mounted directly in front of the radiator, so all the heat shed by that system runs through it. In racing applications this can be detrimental to engine coolant temperatures and risk sending your GR Corolla / GR Yaris into limp mode.
