At GrimmSpeed we have worked with endless amounts of aftermarket gaskets, but none seem to work as well as the multi-layer steel OEM style gaskets. The issue with the OEM gaskets from Subaru is that they are not as durable as MLS gaskets can be. Well, Grimmspeed has your answer; a premium multi-layer stainless steel gasket w/ stainless steel fire-ring at a great price. We add extra layers to our gaskets to allow for more compression on the fire ring for better sealing against flanges that may not be machined perfectly flat or have warped over time from thousands of heat cycles.
