GrimmSpeed V2 Bypass Valve Red 2008-2014 WRX / 2005-2009 Legacy GT

Description:
This is the GrimmSpeed Bypass Valve. GrimmSpeed has engineered quite the improvement to be a direct replacement for the factory's weak blow-off valve. The problem with the factory unit is that by design, it is cheaply made and they are prone to have premature leaks which will cause inconsistent boost targets. This will only get worse as you perform modifications that increase the boost and the power of your engine. GrimmSpeed solves this issue by developing a blow-off valve that starts with machined 6061 billet aluminum construction which makes it lightweight and strong. Internally, the GrimmSpeed Blow-Off Valve features a 36-brass piston along with an integrated spring that is sealed with O-rings on the top and the bottom to hold the pressure. The exterior of the unit is fully anodized in a beautiful red or black finish for a better engine bay aesthetic while providing the protection needed against corrosion.

- Oversized 38mm brass piston for superior flow
- No tuning or adjustment is needed unless you run the blow-off valve with the inspection port open
- Swivel air fitting to aid in the installation for accommodating custom setups

Changes:
- Redesigned the internal piston to eliminate the potential failure points we saw in our V1 design.
- Adjusted tension of the internal spring to better suit the operating environments we've seen after further testing and development.
- Updated the design of the main body for a better CNC milling finish.
- Exchanged the internal brass piston from V1 for a lighter weight hard aluminum piston, resulting in better valve response.
- Removed the inspection port which was primarily used for quality control, but it is not required with the new design.
