Standard Return Policy
Unless otherwise indicated products sold by SMYPerformance.com are covered under our Standard Return Policy. Our Standard Return Policy requires the buyer to complete the RMA which can be found within your Account Profile (see photo below).
Special Order Return Policy
- SMY Performance has access to hundreds of aftermarket products and manufacturers. In some cases these items are considered special order and are specifically ordered in for the buyer on a case-by-case basis. As a result items that fall under the Special Order Return Policy are not eligible for any refund, credit or exchange. Special order items require a 50% (non refundable) deposit, should the buyer choose to cancel the order at any point SMY Performance will not refund the deposit. The buyer assumes that any and all items ordered under the Special Order Return Policy will fit their vehicle and will fit there needs. Any customer placing a special order with SMY Performance will be made aware of an ETA of when the product may ship. These ETAs are all estimated and varies depending on Holidays and other outside influences.
- Orders placed by customers for a JDM Item with the stock status of SPECIAL ORDER can not be canceled after 24 hours. This is because the orders have already been processed, orders have been placed and paid for. We also do not allow the funds to be transferred to store credit. Orders are final for JDM special order products.
On occasion packages are returned as “undelivered”. In such cases, we will issue a full refund (minus the shipping charges to customer and returned shipping). We are unable to re-ship orders that are returned to us as undelivered. If you would still like to purchase items that were undelivered, you are welcome to place a new order on our Website. If you suspect your order cannot be delivered, and you have not received confirmation of its return or a refund, please contact us. Customers are responsible for any typos when checking out through SMYPerformance.com
For any reason you wish to cancel your order please email us. As long as your order has not been processed, packaged and ready for shipping, or shipped a full refund will be made using the same payment method. Any orders not canceled before the order is processed and or packaged will incur a cancellation fee. Fees are 10% of orders under $400 and 5% for orders over $401. If you paid via credit card the transaction fee we were assessed will NOT be refunded. If paid via PayPal as long as the order is canceled within 45 days you will receive a full refund. Payments made using Affirm will be refunded minus the processing fee.
Conditions of Use
SMY Return Policy
SMY Performance allows returns up to 30 days which starts on the day the item was delivered. There are absolutely no returns on any order over 30 days.
1) Must not surpass 30 days after the tracking shows delivery.
2) Product must be unopened/unused or box must be sealed the way it was received.
3) Product boxes returned to us must not be ripped or torn.
4) Opened or Not in original packaging is subject to a repackaging fee (up to 10% of the items value)
5) Returned items after test fitting or if you just “don’t like the color” subject to restocking fee (between 5-15% depending on the value of the product)
6) Any missing parts when returned will not qualify for any refunds. Missing parts include Paperwork, Hardware and anything else that was included with your purchase.
7) Used or installed Items do not qualify for returns.
**AFFIRM Returns / Order Modifications**
If you placed an order using Affirm and process an RMA please note any fees that we were assessed will be deducted from the return. The same would apply to removal or modifications or products from your order.
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees. We are not responsible for items damaged or lost during returned shipping.
We require a Tracking Number on all returns, and recommend you insure the package.
- Any shipping fees paid by us on orders shipped for free (over $175) or paid by customers are non refundable
Damaged / Warrantied items will be handled case by case. Please email us for more email@example.com
- The RMA Number is required on the return shipping label as well as this form. If not, then we will not know
who it is from and will delay your return process.
